Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational programs, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social growth. Couples reside on duty for nine consecutive days followed by three days off, with unscheduled time on weekdays while students attend school. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required for this full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
