Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for a two-person married couple as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couple resides in on-campus student homes and provides care, guidance, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. This role includes relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement (both spouses must complete individual employment applications)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
