Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and chapel attendance. The role progresses from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. The position includes comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance, with the unique requirement that both married spouses complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism while serving as role models
