Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 813 students living in the home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition into a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver\'s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Spouses must be age 27 or older
