Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 813 students, and engage in activities, devotions, and Chapel services. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, budgeting and reporting, and ensuring a safe, structured home environment. Schedule initially involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transitions to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required with on-campus housing and benefits package included.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
