Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and ensure student wellness while driving students to activities and planning developmental or recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially work a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license. Salary is $46,917 per person with comprehensive benefits including relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and accompany them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
