Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on-campus with a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel visits, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and following a 9-days-on/3-days-off duty cycle with eventual placement into a dedicated student home. Requires two-person, married-couple eligibility, relocation to Hershey, PA, on-campus housing, and the ability to supervise youth, lead religious/devotional activities within Judeo-Christian context, and meet safety/driver requirements. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Comfort leading devotions and Chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
