Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couple) live on campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle and transitions to a Placed Houseparent with continued on-site housing. Relocation assistance is provided. Requires high school diploma or GED, two-year married couple, both spouses 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
