Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live on-campus at Milton Hershey School. Couples will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, residing in student homes with a group of 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and development support. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and initially supporting multiple homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include a salary of $46,917 per person (approx. $180,000 per couple), comprehensive health and retirement benefits, relocation assistance and paid training, and PTO; requires relocation to Hershey, PA and on-campus housing; qualifications include youth experience, legal married status for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, a GED or high school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus conduct (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty).
