Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for groups of 8–13 students, including daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and facilitating daily devotions and Chapel services. The position begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) with total compensation around $180,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, PTO, and paid training. Qualifications include youth work experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid U.S. driver’s license; both spouses must be aged 27+ and legally married for at least two years, with up to three dependent children allowed in the student home. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and willingness to be certified to drive student home vans, plus comfort with leading daily devotions and church services.
