Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver (Full-time Flex Houseparent) at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and house reporting, and adapting to a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person and relocation assistance. Requires a legally married couple to apply together; on-campus housing and meals provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in leading devotions and chapel
- Experience with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Two years married required
