Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus at Milton Hershey School and provide care, supervision, guidance, and a family-like environment for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and engaging students in developmental and recreational activities. The role progresses from a nine-on/three-off duty cycle to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation is provided to Hershey, PA with on-campus housing and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires two legally married spouses (both 27+) to apply individually.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model duties
