Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role over time. The role requires married couples for consideration, relocation to the on-campus homes, a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
