Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married couple live in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and age 27+ for both spouses; relocation assistance and paid training provided; on-campus housing and benefits included.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples (must be legally married)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
