Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples (two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents) on an on-campus residence for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires living on campus in a student home, providing care in a family-like environment, with relocation to Hershey, PA, and benefits including housing, meals, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and relocation assistance. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; role emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and ability to lead devotional activities within a Judeo-Christian context.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying to Chapel
- Experience working with youth (volunteering acceptable)
