Job Summary
Residential two-person Full-time on-campus Houseparents live in student homes and supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines, schedules, and finances; administer medications; drive students to activities; plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities; lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel; and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role begins as Flex Houseparents with a nine-on, three-off schedule, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, a legally married couple (both spouses aged 27+), valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth; willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA area and live on campus in a structured, faith-based environment that is smoke- and weapon-free.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
