Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver duties: two-person Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes in Medford, OR, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing recreational and developmental activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; role transitions into Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires married couples, legally married at least two years, both spouses age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and completion of individual employment applications for consideration. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary per person is $44,768 with comprehensive benefits and housing/meal provisions included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
