Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and guide a group of approximately 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule initially, transitioning later to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two people must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
