Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles providing supervision, mentorship, and daily care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student-home setting. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA and living on campus with a married partner for continued shared supervision of students; benefits include salary per person plus housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Prohibited alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
