Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparents will reside on-campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition to a placed Houseparent with the same students. The role requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and relocation to the on-campus residence. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with future placement in a single student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for couples
