Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, supervising ~813 students and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support; duties include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, with a working cycle of nine days on followed by three days off, and eventual placement as a Houseparent with the same group of students; requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness for relocation to Hershey, PA, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free/weapon-free campus; and role emphasizes forming a structured, family-like environment and student development within a two-person married couple framework.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement (married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with youth or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus with students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited (must respect Judeo-Christian chapel services)
- Relocation assistance provided
