Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver roles for married couples who will reside in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially working nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Requires two spouses who are legally married for at least two years, age 27+, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; High School diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
