Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for a married two-person couple living on campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. Requires on-campus living in Hershey, PA, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and PTO. This is a two-person, married-couple role with both spouses applying individually and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
