Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. They manage household routines, student schedules, and transportation to activities, administer medications, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and actively engage in developmental and recreational activities with students. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and can transition into a placed houseparent role living with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Two-person married couple must be age 27 or older (per posting)
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
