Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise approximately 8–13 students in a family-style home, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, with an initial schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple requirement
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Certification to drive student home vans
