Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver (Full-time Flex Houseparents); a two-person, married-couple role residing on-campus to supervise and guide groups of 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, supervision, and activities; responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed Houseparent living with the same group; benefits include relocation assistance, housing, meals on duty, health/dental/vision insurance, life/disability options, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Prolonged commitment to student success from both spouses
