Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, and lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance. Roles transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed Houseparent in the same student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; couples must both apply. Relocation assistance is provided; salary per person is $46,917 with total compensation around $180,000 per couple. Responsibilities include supervising students, budgeting and household reporting, and supporting student wellness and development in a structured, family-like environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married at least
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pets limited to fish and one dog of approved breeds
