Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of students (approximately 813). Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, including supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation includes salary per person with total couple compensation around $168,000 and relocation benefits plus comprehensive benefits. Requires a two-person, legally married couple for consideration; both spouses must complete individual applications. Location: Hershey, PA. Relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role requiring both spouses to apply
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol)
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and attendance at Sunday Chapel
