Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couple (Flex Houseparents) on a campus housing 8–13 students. Live-in, full-time, rotating nine days on/three days off initially, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving and coordinating activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness to relocate to Hershey, PA with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA; on-campus housing provided
