Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus in Hershey, PA, to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism in role modeling for students
