Job Summary
Two-person married couple role living on campus as Flex Houseparents. They supervise 8–13 students, mentor and guide them, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of marriage minimum, both spouses aged 27+, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with driving-certification ability. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; salary is paid per person with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
