Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentorship, and leading devotions. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Houseparents oversee budgeting and household reporting, start on a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, and eventually transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students in their own home. Requires high school diploma or GED, willingness for a two-person married-couple arrangement with at least two years married, both spouses aged 27 or older, valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
