Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, providing care, medications administration, transportation, daily routines, and development activities. Responsibilities include supervision, budgeting and reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, coordinating student schedules, and engaging in developmental and recreational activities. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
