Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. They manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role begins as nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent home for the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Two-person role; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
