Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. The position transitions from a Flex Houseparent to a Placed Houseparent, living and working with the same group of students. Requires a two-spouse, legally married partnership, with both spouses meeting age and licensing requirements; HS diploma or GED; ability to lift 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; fitness for the campus environment.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
