Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live on-campus in East Canton, OH, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmentally-focused activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a Flex Houseparent to a Placed Houseparent. The position is full-time with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, and the couple must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27 or older; includes physical requirements and adherence to campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
