Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising ~8–13 students per home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Requires married couple status, both spouses employed individually, and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
