Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. The role requires relocation to Hershey, PA, and both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Spouses must be age 27 or older
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
