Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for a two-person, married couple living on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students in a house, manage daily routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from a flex assignment to a placed houseparent with the same student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Both spouses must complete individual applications; the roles involve living on-campus and providing care, guidance, and supervision in a structured, family-like environment for college-preparatory youth.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
