Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver couples live on-campus in student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting/reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule, with eventual placement into a stable home for the same group of students, and includes relocation assistance and paid training. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with driving certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience with youth, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; both spouses must be legally married, age 27+, and submit individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
