Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on Milton Hershey School campus and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role follows a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotional activities and chapel services
- Morals and professionalism aligned with school mission
