Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in a student home near Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning over time to a placed houseparent with the same group of students. This role requires a two-spouse, married-for-at-least-two-years arrangement, with both spouses contributing to duties and applications as part of the hire process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouses married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
