Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and oversee routines; administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from initial placement in multiple student homes to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires a married couple who are legally married for at least two years, both aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and on-site housing; salary is $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple) with full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
