Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver roles for married couples (two-person Flex Houseparents) reside on campus in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents. Requires living on campus, full-time schedule (9 days on, 3 days off initially), relocation to Hershey, PA, and a commitment from both spouses who must be at least 27 years old and legally married for two years. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
