Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for a married couple to live in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and supervising budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA, with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; requires a two-spouse commitment, high school diploma or GED, and both spouses aged 27 or older. Salary: $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple) with housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
