Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver pair (married couple) sought to reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and providing consistent care within a structured, family-like environment. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration; the position is full-time and benefits-eligible.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
