Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver at Milton Hershey School: Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couples) live on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport and plan activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a nine-on/three-off cycle to a placed houseparent role. Requires a two-person, married-couple team, on-campus housing, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage commitment for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Residence on-campus in student homes for a group of 8–13 students
- Full-time, two-person role for married spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Prohibition of alcohol on duty
- Compliance with deployment to chapels and daily devotions
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
