Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role: two-person Flex Houseparents living on campus to supervise and nurture 8–13 students, manage household routines, medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role operates on a nine-on, three-off cycle and offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and guaranteed on-campus housing. Requires married couple pairs, minimum two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED; includes driving responsibilities and a rehousing transition to a placed houseparent.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
