Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live on campus as Flex Houseparents, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off schedules to a placed houseparent within the same student home. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to obtain certification to drive student home vans; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27 or older. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary listed per person with total compensation for the couple included.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-year marriage requirement for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
