Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on-campus in Marshall, MN to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and developmentally-supportive activities. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-consecutive-day on duty schedule followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and must be a legally married couple for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older. Relocation assistance is provided. Two-person home-based role on a campus setting with on-site housing and comprehensive benefits.

- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading student devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Willingness to relocate if required by the role
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
